NEW FREE AGENT RULES

So I was just thinking, it's kinda unrealistic to have free agents waves so heres what I think we'll do.

Follow this simple format when submitting a bid for any given UFA

Here is a line by line breakdown of how your offer should look:

Example Player: Marc Savard

Title of PM:
Last Name, Fist Name

Body of PM:
Line 1 - Last Name, Fist Name, Position
Line 2 - Contact Value/Contract Length
Line 3 - Special Claues (NTC, Player Option, Team Option, Player Option)
Line 4 and 5 - 1 or 2 reason why you think the player should sign with your team

So, this is how a PROPER offer would look:

Savard, Marc

Savard, Marc
5 million per year/4 years -or- 5M/4Y
NTC
I think savard would be a great fit on our team because his offensive know how would greatly boost our offense and his leadership would be a great asset to our youngsters, blah blah blah, yada yada yada

after the offer is submitted I will let you know if the player has signed or not, or where he stands. I won't say if anyone else has offered for a player, it'll be just between the team GM and me

The rule will be maximum of 10 free agent signings a season
